This program provides a unique opportunity to learn from and with other CEOs. It is pretty lonely at the top, and so having other individuals who understand what it's like, and with whom you can share your challenges, wins and plans freely is not something to take lightly. Also, the Accelerator program is structured to help you deliberately navigate your own leadership journey, while reflecting on who you are and how you may grow and leave a strong legacy when you move on to your next role.
I am excited and privileged to be part of the CEO Accelerator Program. The Program has been very phenomenal in helping me to reshape the future of my leadership and exuding self-care. I was one leader who was always on the go, working morning, afternoon and for 5 years I had not taken a break, but the program has helped me to take deliberate measures and put systems in place to take care of myself and I owe this to the CEO Accelerator Program.
It has been such a great honour to be part of the CEO Accelerator Program. The number one lesson I am taking away from this Journey is that, it’s important to think about how you are raising and cultivating other leaders through your own leadership. Being a part of the CEO Accelerator Program also drove home the importance of connections: being connected to other CEOs from different industries has birthed a lot of collaborations.
The 40 Day Challenge was what kicked things off for me and I can reference the impact it had. It prompted me to start looking at things from another perspective. The program offered me unique insights on how to lead teams and manage my own personal journey. The CEO Accelerator Program has really impacted me as my management style has evolved. I am now more collaborative and encouraging towards my team. I have a lot to share and post the program I have a book to write on my journey. Robert, I enjoy the one-on-one conversations with you and even after the Program I would like us to continue.
I have really enjoyed the first 6 months especially, the session on breaking barriers to CEOs learning. The 5 Accelerators are also great. It has helped to shape my leadership and enabled me to focus on what matters. I believe a lot of CEOs and business leaders should know about the 5 Accelerators. The CEO Diary is very helpful! It forced me to organize my thoughts, summarize and actually write them down as often as possible. It helps me to put structure to what I want to achieve weekly & monthly and to reflect as often as possible, guided by what I had put down.
It has been very worthwhile. The first 6 months for me has been very revealing. The 5 CEO Accelerators Ideas for Action has been extremely helpful to me. I wanted to attend an international program but having worked and engaged with the 5 Accelerators I am glad I didn't .
The presentation on the Simple Strategic Plan shared at the last meeting came in very handy because we were working towards our digital transformation plan. We were very busy so getting the team and management together for an extended time to develop a road map was difficult. It was so so good you shared the presentation at that time, I took a portion of it and presented it at our leadership meeting and we used it to guide our discussions. The Simple Strategic Plan framework provided the much needed succinct approach to prepare our document. The toolkits provided on the CEO Accelerator Program are always very useful.
The program has provided the watchful eyes that has helped me sharpen my leadership skills through the various activities and most importantly, the accountability sessions. I was more task focused and demanding but now, I am more reflective in the management of my team, giving balanced feedback and encouraging the team.
